I have experienced this several times and I am sure some of the rest of you have also encountered this unpleasantness.
My main problem is that I have a very keen nose and can pick up the slightest smell. This is probably the reason why I am very fussy about perfume. The overpowering ones are totally out as are the ones where the smell disappears within an hour.
My perfect perfume, therefore, is Dolce & Gabbana - Feminine. I came across it when I caught the whiff off two of my friends. When they told me what it was I had to have it. I've been using Dolce and Gabbana Feminine for a few years now as I love its gentle, floral fragrance. It lasts for ages once sprayed on and I have always received many compliments as to 'what smells so nice!' by my friends and also some strangers!
It has the scents of lily, vanilla, mimosa and sandalwood, amongst others. A very romantic smelling perfume.
It comes in a round, chunky, see-through bottle which has a silver lid and is a nice shape to fit in any handbag.
From buying it at a large department store and paying over £30.00 for a 100ml bottle, I decided to visit a few perfume websites to see if I could find it at a cheaper price.
I visited a few different sites before coming across two different ones offering the fragrance for £19.99 for a 100ml bottle.
Both of these sites have perfumes which they sell as 'tester bottles ...
Advantages: Great smell, Great price! Disadvantages: not any that i can think of!
Diesel zero plus feminine
I got a sample of this perfume through the post a while back and it smelled nice. I didn't really have a particular perfume I liked wearing at the time and it was near my birthday so I asked my mum to buy me some as a present. This perfume has now turned into my favorite perfume and I wear it every day.
Appearance:
The bottle for the perfume is a deep red and looks good. It is rounded and has the writing written down the side of it. I was immediately attracted to the shape and colour of the bottle, though as many say appearance isn't everything.
The Fragrance:
According to Diesel, it contains: coconut milk, strawberry, vanilla, cherry, red apple, cassis, cassia oil, plum, muguet, maroccan rose, pitosforum (a leafy plant), bitter orange, black pepper, nutmeg, magnolia leaves, pineapple, orchid, orris ...
