Advantages: superb picture quality, borderless prints, speed, quietness,versatility,ease of use yet plenty of gadgets Disadvantages: doesnt have a built-in card reader

? It has both hi-speed USB 2.0 and firewire connections. I haven?t used the firewire connection so I can?t vouch for that ( the inks are apparently fade resistant over 100 years (both matte and glossy media surfaces) but I cant vouch for that either !)

It comes with a selection of software including Epson Print CD Software and PRINT Image Matching II Plug-In for Adobe Photoshop 6.0, 7.0 and Elements (all titles are PC and Macintosh compatible, P.I.M. - and Exif Print-enabled). I bought my new Epson Stylus Photo R800 in December last year, shortly before Christmas. Kind of present for myself! It was replacement for my old photo printer, as the name suggests - another Epson - Stylus Photo 890. It was a great printer, reliable, durable, making great quality prints until the day?
My promise to myself was to get another Epson printer as I knew the maker and loved quality of its printers and other "photo products". I own photo quality scanner by Epson - another great piece of equipment.
I ordered my new printer over the internet, as it was December had to wait 2 weeks for delivery due to big demand for this model.
