Advantages: Solid, cheap, reliable, sturdy, good range of settings Disadvantages: It's huge - but they all are! Can't make your own set programs
I bought this treadmill because I wanted to learn to run - obviously! I suppose that before really going into the details on what this machine is like, I should probably tell you about my own personal fitness levels beforehand. First of all, I am not overweight and so was not buying it for weight reasons - my BMI is actually right on the border between underweight and ideal. I'm not a stranger to exercise and am a gymnastics and horse riding teacher (not at the same time!), however I AM new to running. My original plan was to run outside, but it was cold and it was embarassing, plus I had absolutely no idea how far or how fast I was running. Next step was to join the gym, but by the time I had walked to the gym I generally concluded that I had gone enough distance that there was no longer any point, and had to really force myself to ...
Advantages: Cheap.. and that's it! Disadvantages: Everything Else
My mum purchased the CarlLewis MOT20 Running Machine over a year ago for our entire families use, and to be honest with it, I have been fairly disappointed.
We bought it on eBay and paid £100 for it, and we thought we had a bargain. Initially, we were very pleased with our purchase, but unfortunately it has not lived up to our expectations.
It is a very basic running machine, and looks quite old, dated and clumsy. It is fairly large and is a pain to move around and fit into small gaps. There are definitely better quality running machines out there on the market at a better 'value for money price'.

Advantages: great for weightloss, fun for all the family, improves posture, balance and health Disadvantages: expensive, can only register up to 8 family members

The Wii fit balance board is a rectangular board, which the user stands on, and it links up wirelessly to the Wii and is used to improve health through balance games, muscle and yoga poses and aerobic exercise games. The Wii fit balance board measures and monitors ...
