Review writing on hold - too much school work and coursework to do at the moment. Don't think I'll be writing until after my exams in late June :(

My mum purchased the Carl Lewis MOT20 Running Machine over a year ago for our entire families use, and to be honest with it, I have been fairly disappointed.
We bought it on eBay and paid £100 for it, and we thought we had a bargain. Initially, we were very pleased with our purchase, but unfortunately it has not lived up to our expectations.
It is a very basic running machine, and looks quite old, dated and clumsy. It is fairly large and is a pain to move around and fit into small gaps. There are definitely better quality running machines out there on the market at a better 'value for money price'.
Here is a review of each important topic area for the Carl Lewis MOT20
Range of features
The machine is very basic and only has a limited number of features. It has speed control up to 12km per hour, going up in intervals of 1km / hour. This allows you to finely adjust your speed, but a higher top speed would be better for those wanting to go faster. It also has a display showing the distance you have ran, the speed that you're going at, a very inaccurate calories display, time running and your pulse (again, which is not very accurate). My display is no longer visible because the battery has either run out or it is not working. Generally, a poor selection of features. You can't adjust gradient and there are no running workouts to follow or motivate you. 4/10
Durability
Similarly, the durability is also poor. Parts of the plastic have broken from where we have moved the machine and it doesn't always work. As I have already mentioned, the display is knackered and the safety latch that disconnects the machine no longer fits. Therefore sometimes you can't actual run, or the machine will cut out whilst you are in the middle of your exercise. This is very annoying and has ultimately resulted in our treadmill becoming an expensive shelf. 3/10
Comfort
I always advise you to wear comfortable shoes if you use this running machine. Bare feet, or socks is very painful. The surface is very hard and not to giving on the joints, especially the knees and can result in a bit of pain. 2/10.
Value for money
Although £100 is pretty cheap for a running machine, it really is not worth it. My mum and I wish that e had spent a bit more and got a much better machine that we could have used much more regularly. It really is cheap and not very cheerful! 3/10
Overall, I would avoid this like the plague! They are not very good and there are much better models out there at very reasonable prices. I have been very disappointed by this and I think we will be trying to sell it very soon. Carl Lewis should be ashamed to endorse such poor running machines!
A dreadful heap of metal 3/10.
