The Yonex arcsaber 10 is a lethal piece of kit!

Advantages: smashing, clearances, looks, maneuverability, control and offense
Disadvantages: defense and price

This is Yonex's flagship model offering excellent maneuverability and immense POWER! This review will be based on the Yonex arcsaber 10 with Yonex BG 85 string at 23lbs and Yonex super grap overgrip . Prior to this racket i tend to use Carlton rackets as they tend to be cheaper. This is my first time using a head heavy racket and Yonex as well. Nevertheless, this racket is more suited for those who like to smash or hit powerful shots. The racket weighs around 85-89 grams strung, which is okay and most of the weight is on the head i.e. head heavy. The racket has various technologies such as cup stack carbon nanotube technology, which retains its shape quicker and the shaft offers excellent shock absorption and control. The Beauty That Delivers!

Advantages: Looks, light weight,
Disadvantages: Squeaks at start, doesnt give the greatest power

with the floor, or another players racket, or even the net posts, but on the few occasions that I have made contact with another hard object it has left a scratch or two. So I cant really say exactly how durable it is until I break it (which hopefully I never will) My overall thoughts are that this is a wonderful racket for the badminton player who wants an aggressive game that does involve smashing but also quick movement. When it says intermediate, I can fully agree with it and I do believe that it suits the intermediate player well. But strings are also a major part of the racket, and with different string tensions the player is able to change the power of shots, the feelings and the control. If you do buy this racket, I do hope you enjoy it as much as I have, because its been a pleasure to play with. Oh and if you do bend and flex the shaft ...

AT700 - The Choice of Pro's!

Advantages: Powerfull, excellent for singles
Disadvantages: Cost, head heavy, not so great for doubles play.

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR THE SIMPLE ROUND UP FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF BADMINTON - JUST ADDED IT ! Yonex - Manufacturer Armortec 700 - Model Armortec Series (AT) - Range This is a badminton racket before we start looking at anything, and being honest its for mainly advanced singles players, and used almost exclusively by a lot of international players.. If you are new to badminton ill try to explain the technical jargon as best I can, but the first things you will need to know is that Yonex are the Microsoft of the badminton world. The current range of Armortec rackets contains the AT800Offensive, AT800Defensive, AT700 (discontinued but still available) AT500, AT300 and AT150 being the lowest, cheapest and thus most budget of the range. The AT700 on the other hand being one of the top of the range ...
