Advantages: Good for pretend play Disadvantages: Expensive
...Little tikes log cabin
I visited a play facility a few weeks ago and they had a little tikes log cabin. Little tikes toys are popular at play venues as they are very durable. There are many varieties of little tikes play houses you will be sure to find one to suit your child or play setting ?
The little tikes, sorry little children, who play with this can pretend they have a log cabin in the woods or they can forget it?s a pretend log cabin and just use it as any playhouse.
Let me describe this log cabin. It?s not really made of real wooden logs silly, its made of plastic. The walls are moulded plastic coloured brown and shaped /formed to look like wooden logs. The front and the back of the cabin measure 1.45 metres. The sides measure 1.22m. There are gables on the sides of this cabin. The height to the gable ridge is 1...

Advantages: Just £ 1.50, weekly publication, well written Disadvantages: None
...As the name would rather obviously suggest this is a magazine dedicated to the carp angler. A weekly publication, it brings you all the lastest news and views on anything to do with tracking down and catching this beautiful fish.
Like most dedicated magazines specialising in a particular subject it goes quite in depth in some areas but it is a reccommended read to the serious angler.
Features such as the News Round-up are particularly useful to keep up to date with the latest methods, trends and happenings in the world of carp fishing.
I find the Catchlines section an interesting read as you get to see some of the large fish caught by anglers country wide together with a write up about where and how they caught their quarry. A section on the latest baits and a column by their regular columnist Simon Crow further enhance this...

...Do you like scary movies?
Personally I?m a fan of horror films, the best of them are very clever and intriguing, the worst of them extremely bad but as long as one gets a good fright then it all seems worthwhile.
Its fear but knowing that your never really in any danger, that adrenaline rush, the skin crawling or (in the very best examples) the ones that get in under your skin, films like the Exorcist, The Others or The Ring (Japanese version) to name a few.
In this genre Cabin Fever doesn?t really deserve a place. It?s a shocker, it gory and its sickening. The scares are few and far between and all the characters are unlovable, vain, arrogant and selfish. Not one of them endeared themselves to me and so it happens that I didn?t really care whether they caught the disease or not.
The premise is this. A group of horny...
