Advantages: Quickness, Taste Disadvantages: Can be unhealthy, false adverts
.... For example, today?s (Monday) £1.99 sub is turkey and ham deli.
The nutrition depends entirely on what sandwich, bread and filling you choose, there is an opportunity for very healthy eating here if you make the right choices. However, more often than not the nicest sandwiches end up being the least healthy, and some have been known to give you nearly all of your allowances of fat and sugar in a day (this is only the meatball marina.)
The only negative that I can really give about Subway is that the adverts sometimes don?t match up to the actual food, for example we saw an advert for a fajita style sandwich, with stir fried Mexican chicken and vegetables, however the product that I got was cold with plain vegetables, not quite what I expected.
Overall, it?s a great restaurant for lunch on the go, but watch out for those calories...

Advantages: Sub of the day is a bargain, large variety of choice Disadvantages: Can be expensive, not as healthy as it seems
...found on this link - http://www.subway.co.uk/menunutritioninfo.asp.
The look of the sandwiches seems healthy, theres nothing in them that you would automatically assume to be really unhealthy or fatty, but unfortunately that is not the case. Some of the subs such as chicken and bacon ranch, which is one of my favourites contains 489 calories per 6 inch sub which is really quite worrying as that is 1/4 of the daily allowance for women in just one sandwich, let alone if you get a meal deal. And if you had a footlong that would equate to 978 calories for the sandwich, which is half of the daily allowance for women! It also contains 20.9g of fat, which is a significant amount. Alot of the calories in a Subway are the sauces, some of them containing up to 200 calories per serving, so just watch out for those. Subway do provide low fat...

Advantages: Great for downhill Disadvantages: suspension no good for road.
...The old Carerra bikes seem to be doing well for themselves of late, Halfords still arent offering them though at a reasonable price. The Carrera is what I would call an entry level bike, the bikes are built in the same factory as Kona so expect the same level of workmanship you would from a top name like Kona. This bike comes with the Tough 4 bar link full suspension 7005 aluminium Bi-axial tubed frame. Suntour XC60 fork, 27spd Shimano Deore transmission, Tektro IO Disc brakes, FSA Alpha drive chain set, Tioga double butted handlebars, Tioga stem and seatpost, Tioga Factory Extreme 2. 1 tyres, Shock comes with adjustable pre-load and rebound damping.
This bike is meant really for downhill racing but does well on dirt riding. The gears are Shimano Deore which are a sturdier gearing than the standard Shimano, which is what you will need...
