In terms of the basics, the camera works well. Good crisp photos, although like other digital cameras, slow to actually take the photo, so it is not good for action subjects. The camera has a number of modes. I have used the film mode 30 seconds ... ...people in the UK know Casio for calculators, so they won’t be impressed by the brand! Transfers onto computer are easy and fast, and on XP just a click and drag onto a hard disk. I don’t use the bundled software, just transfer the pictures onto disk. It has a 3x optical zoom,1.8" lcd viewer, 4 AA batteries and it comes with photo loader software to make it easier to send your images to your PC.The camera is thick but it has a comfortable feel in your finger when u hold it because on the exterior of the camera it has a thin rubber grip.This camera is also suitable for people who like to take pictures of them self because it has a self timer with options of 10 second delay, 2 second delay and off.The Exposure Mode Dial provides an easy access to Manual Mode, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Program Mode, Full Auto Mode,

The camera will automatically select the best combination of aperture and shutter speed for you. Casio's built-in icons such as "night" and "fireworks" can handle tough photographic situations with point-and-shoot simplicity.
