Cateye EL820 Double Shot Pro Features: The double shot pro is a masterclass in compact design and minimal weight. At just 332g, it makes a great bike or helmet light - the 2.3ah lithium ion battery is scarcely bigger than the head unit and can be easily mounted on a stem. 2 hyper power opticube leds generate a highly focussed long range beam. on the high beam setting, the run time is 2 hours with recharging taking a mere 2.5 hours. The unit includes a switch mounted battery life indicator, cateye\'s flex tight bracket ( 22.2-31.8mm ) and a helmet mount. this is very definitely a highly desirable piece of kit.
Advantages: Wonderfully Bright LED Light Disadvantages: Is it Sturdy Enough
...my pervious experience with Cateye lights. I slide the cover off to reveal the battery housing and this does not improve my impression I have images of this rather fetching lamp being held together with Duck Tape in the near future. Once the batteries are fitted though it feels considerably more robust.
The light itself is very bright and does give out a reasonable beam, anyone not seeing me coming with this needs his eyes tested, so it fulfils my function of getting myself seen on my bike……
4. Conclusions
At £24-99 it is a tad expensive considering the general impressions about the build quality of the item; in general the design is better than the Cateye light I previously used which I am very happy about. On top of that I am confident that I am making myself visible enough on the road to get myself seen and recognised by other...

Advantages: Very bright, good battery life Disadvantages: Brighter lights available, build quality questionable, battery heavy and gets in the way
...Normal AA battery powered lights. Nothing wrong with them really, for city centre riding, where you could really get away with no lighting whatsoever. Head out on a country road, or go off-road at night (try it - it's quite fun!), and you need something with a bit more oomph. I've always trusted CatEye as a brand, so off I went to my local bike shop and investigated their range of lighting, and stumbled across these.
The HL-500 II consists of two of the Micro Halogen lights that previous CatEye users may be familiar with, but with the normal 2.5W bulbs uprated to 6W each. You also get various bits of cable and a sealed lead acid battery, with a supplied charger. Fitting the lights is a simple operation, with simple thumbscrew brackets which attach to your handlebars and the battery hanging from the frame.

Advantages: Good pucnh and good control for an hyper carbon racket Disadvantages: needs more control
...This is a pretty good racket. Coming into the hyper carbon era in tennis from graphite this racket has a lot of punch to it, and also has a lot of control to it. The control may not be has good as the original ProStaff graphite racket which was used by former no. 1 Pete Sampras. However comparing this racket to other hyper carbon rackets this racket has good control. The punch in this racket makes it easier to play shots witm more power and little effort, however the draw back with this racket for me has been when trying to attack an approach ball. When you try to put a little more effort in the attack the racket usually ends up giving to much of a punch making the ball out of control....
