Century Body Opponent Bag Bob

I have two major issues with BOB, firstly he never winces when I hit him and two, why do you cost soooooo much!

I've used Bob in the gym a number of times and find him quite useful. The main reason is he is contoured in the shape of a human unlike a punchbag. This for fairly obvious reasons gives him the edge over a regular punchbag as it allows you to train with greater accuracy for your target. He feels nice to hit too, as when you ...
...he's melting and importantly it doesn't hurt your wrists as there is plenty of "Give".

However there are three major floors with his design.

1) Firstly he doesn't move. I like the naturally moment you get from a punch bag as this means you can alter your attacks punching in and away from the punch bag. Bob just stares nonchontly back at you.

He feels nice to hit too, as when you land a couple of hard blows, his face depresses like he's melting and importantly it doesn't hurt your wrists as there is plenty of "Give".

However there are three major floors with his design.

2) The base is wide so its difficult to get your feet near to the target. Again this limits your footwork and moment.

3) He falls over.....LOTS. Now I'm a middle weight and although I like to think I can punch hard, I probably don't. BOB however gives the illusion that I must be Mike Tysons love child as he falls to the floor after just a short floury of harder punches. Now you can either fill the bottom with sand or water, but 9 times out of 10 people use water because funnily enough they dont have 20kg of sand lying around. This is a major floor and really means that he can only be used for hand eye work. pretty expensive just for that, especially when you could buy a punch bag for 40/50 quid and have much more versatility.

I therefore have to conclude, whilst he looks good in your gym, you'll start thinking Bob should have stuck to Building.
