Wavemaster is a high impact boxing training bag enabling you to get an intense workout. It's design has been engineered to provide optimal resistance and rapid rebound from quick jabs, punches and kicks.
...I brought this punchbag from littlewoods catalogue 4 years ago for £79, i chose this one as it is a heavy duty bag and weighs in at about 7 stone, i didnt see the point of buying a light bag that would fly everywhere when i hit it so this was a great choice for me, i also chose to get it from the catalogue as i didnt fancy carrying it home myself.
The quality of this bag is great, the leather is very soft so it doesnt hurt your hands but is very tough as mine is still perfect after 4 years of abuse. This bag has hooks on the top to hang it up and comes complete with hanging bracket and gloves.
The inside of the bag looks like loads of thin strands of string and straw, it has a zip on the top so you can refill it if you need to but i havent had to yet.
The bag is long so is ideal for boxing or kick boxing as it is long enough...

Advantages: Computer data, movable (just) is a great talking point Disadvantages: Long time to set up, computer can be a bit slow
...Having owned several punchbags in my time and having a few hundred quid burning in my pocket for a bit of a boys toy!, One of my work colleauges told me he had just purchased this slam man!... This lead me on to seeing why this toy cost him £284...
On first impression the slam man looks hysterical, only when you say "Hang on, thats for real", do you take its function seriously... I wee'd myself when I saw what my work mate had brought (he was a big overweight at the time) you had to be there I guess...
The slam man comes in 2 parts, the torso and the base, the torso then attaches to the base, once you fill the base with sand, once you plug the computer in its ready to use. There are 2 entry points into which you can pour sand into the base.
The slam man is a life size model resembling a torso, featuring a computerised system...

Advantages: Good fun while improving fitness Disadvantages: Expensive
...I ordered my "Slamman" from www.boystuff.co.uk after seeing it advertised in the back of a mens magazine. Basically it is a polyeurathane model of a man - and a pretty mean looking one at that - which has lights embedded in the face and sternum. A small electronic unit on the front is used to cause the lights to flash in a pre-programmed sequence over a configurable period of time. When the lights flash, you punch them, and if you hit the light with enough power it goes out. The electronic pack keeps a running score of how many lights you have blitzed so that you can assess your performance/fitness.
One problem with this product (and this applies especially to the guys) is that you must weigh Slamman down with a huge quantity of sand to stop it from moving as you pummel it. In the instructions it suggests 5 bags of sand but I found...
