Advantages: Good venue, excellent location Disadvantages: Long queues, varied nights so each night won't appeal to everyone
The Plug is located above a block of offices right in the heart of the city centre and since opening its doors a few years ago it has established itself as one of the most popular venues in the city. It is a large club split into three different rooms; cleverly called Live, Earth and Neutral.
Live is the room where most of the live bands play and there is a stage and a room large enough to accommodate around 500 people standing. The other two rooms are usually used to play different styles of music but the design of the place means that it is possible to remove the false walls and create one large room with a capacity of around 1200. I seen a few live acts here including Jarvis Cocker and Glasvegas and on both of these occasions it was just one large room rather than the three smaller ones.

Asda Blue Charge - 1 litre bottle
This is a high impact stimulation drink, which contains taurine and it is carbonated fruit flavoured with added caffeine and vitamins. It is basically a supermarket version of the well known Redbull. It is in my opinion a very tasty drink. Normally and preferred on its own but I have tried it with vodka which makes the vodka easier to drink but does make you get drunk quicker. I find this drink's texture like any other fizzy drink but a little bit thicker and not as tinkerly when going down the throat. I could not say what flavour I am tasting but when I saw that it contains apple flavouring, then I realise it does have a hint of it.
The 1 litre costed 89p (13/01/2009) from Adsa obviously. But I got the special offer, which was buy 3 for £2.50. Saved 17p only but its still a saving as I am going ...

Advantages: Play for hours on end and just plug in and charge - good price Disadvantages: none
the battery bit on the back of the controller and replaces the old AA batteries and the cover. It slots in very easily by placing the bottom bit in first and then can be easily removed by pushing the button at the top and it will come straight out. The charger simply plugs into the top of the controller and then the other end (the USB bit) will plug into the front of the xbox or into your computer.
How it works:
At first you have to put the battery pack into the controller and then put the USB in and plug into the xbox or computer and leave to charge for about 5 hours. Once it is fully charged the light on the wire will change from red (charging) to green (fully charged). You will then be able to use your controller for around 30 hours before it will need recharging.
The controller can be checked to see how much battery is left by pressing ...
