Advantages: fantastic support and comfort Disadvantages: Hard to find store with type of boot in stock
...Ski-ing itself was a dramatic sport to learn however the comfort these boots provided left me no aches and pains. The comfort and fit is excellant and range in this brand is superb. Salamon is certainly one of the top leading brands which is both reasonable and user friendly.
The boots are highly durable and slip onto your feet like a glove unlike other brands which are very difficult to fit. The range of colours and style do vary depending on the level of skier but any reputable trader will advise accordingly. After sales is also an added plus and adivce on binding all given with sale.
Salamom certainly made my first skiing holiday very enjoyable and woudl recomend this boot and brand to any new skier...

Advantages: Comfortable, long lasting, good price and fab to wear Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I purchased my boots back in 2001 and have never looked back. They are comfortable, most important when you spend several hours a day in the saddle. They have lasted so far without looking like I have had them for 4 years. The price is great for the durability and practicality elements and they are so easy to maintain. My husband even wore them for a carriage dressage competition. A bit of polish and they look like brand new boots.
The style of the boots allows some movement in the foot but is supportive where necessary. Its great also for those of us who have large calf muscles with the elasticated back. They are aslo designed with a good toe fit in a stirrup irn.
I cannot praise these boots enough and suggest to all my friends to purchase a pair....

Advantages: comfort, heel leather is soft so no blisters. good ball control Disadvantages: outdated, basic studs, fairly heavy compared to new adidas.possibly better used for rugby now
...I bought these boots a couple of years ago, as a cheaper alternative to the new beckham predators that had been released. And i was very impressed. the leather was soft from the start and I never once got a blister from the heel. the boots are very comfortbale and contact when striking a football is generally clean. they do provide good stability even in a wet surface.
However, in all honestly, with the new f50+ and the tunit ranger just released for the world cup, there are more impressive boots out there. The old style of studs means they are more likely to push through the underside of the boot and really cause pain on your feet. And the basic straight back adidas markings mean the amount of swerve the boots can add is limited.
DO not let that put you off these though. they will give you a good level of performance and last a long...
