Advantages: Price, Ride, Street Cred !! Disadvantages: Hard seat for long rides !
...Having used an MBK Raider hartdail for the last 10 years, and seeing all this new suspension technology coming in, I was tempted to purchase a new Mountain Bike. After looking at all the options :- hardtail, front suspension only, front and rear suspension, I decided to go for the ClaudButler Karve Full Suspension Bike. The price was £400, and for this you get an all alloy frame and rear swingarm, front Suntour MG81 with preload adjusters and disc mounts, rear RS-I alloy shock, Alivio 24 speed with Acera STI shifters, front Grimeca cable disk brake, rear Vuelta alloy 'v' brake, Tioga aheadset, Vuelta tyres and Airline 1 rims, Zoom stem, QR front and rear, QR seatpost plus Tioga Multi Control 2 seat with Kevlar sided panels (which can be a bit painful on long rides! ) (phew !!). Advantages: Fairly hard wearing, Disadvantages: can be hard, expensive limited range
...The Michelin Hot s Tyres are great, it is a medium tyre for those who use their bikes for off road or on road biking, it comes with puncture protection andis only available with bright redor black tread
I have a Claudebutler mountain bike I use on a regular basis on road for biking to work and the occasional off road stint.
The tyres a re durable I have had mine for at least 4 months and they are as good as new, they are original tyre design with an Advanced tread design.
The tyre is Ideally suited for dual-suspension cross-country bikes but as I said I have them for my bike, which has no suspension, and they are good.

Advantages: Excellent bike with well Specified Equipment Disadvantages: No fun riding in the rain.
...If you are considering purchasing a new bike and are
not sure which to choose I can recommend the C.B. Urban 300.It is a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike.
Having an aluminium frame it is light and easy to ride
(Make sure you get the correct size frame)
The Shimano gears I have found to be excellent, the
brakes are very good to.
I chose this particular model over the Urban 100 & 200
due to the better specification of parts and the front
suspension which enhances both comfort on road and offroad.
It is ideal for treking on trails or country pathways.
