Advantages: Good quality components, well built. Disadvantages: Rather heavy, front suspension.
Not a bad bike at all, but it's failing is that it can't make up it's mind if it's one thing or the other. It's set up to be a light use MTB / rough towpath bike with semi-knobbly tyres, front suspension and a bouncy seatpost.
As a MTB, it's too frail, as a city commuter it's too heavy and bouncy. It's ideal use would be taking the kids for Sunday rides around forestry trails.
Using mine for a 10 mile hilly commute, mainly on cycle paths, I felt mine was let down by the front suspension and the poor Tioga tyres. I changed the tyres to semi-slicks which helped, and swapped the seat post to a solid one to which let me put the power down better.
The front suspension still made the bike far heavier than it needed to be (36 lb including a rack) and the suspension saps your effort when pedalling hard. Along the flat this wan't too ...
Advantages: Delicious! Disadvantages: Lack of nutritional information; expensive
thought hot chocolate was meant to be made out from cocoa powder, it was nice having a hot chocolaty drink while watching TV or surfing the net so my fingers won't shake while typing!
Anyway . . .
I had butlers hot chocolate drink as a Christmas gift from my uncle who lives in Ireland and is married to a lovely Irish lady. It had arrived to me as a parcel with a Christmas card inscribed with one word only . . . ENJOY!
It may sound lame but to be honest I was gutted to receive such a gift, I was expecting more! However, I had a look and I was surprised to learn that it was supposed to be drunk not eaten! I never heard of this brand and never knew that hot chocolate can come in pieces! The only hot chocolate I knew was the cocoa powder or chocolate powder! Subsequently I took the box and had a close look; I wanted to ...
Advantages: Superb graphics for a handheld, fast and smooth, 40+ tournaments Disadvantages: Collisions are still a bit duff, A.I. is nothing to write home about
Playing Ridge Racer really rams home just how far handheld gaming has come in such a short time. As a technical showpiece for the PSP, it?s a hugely impressive launch title and more importantly, feels completely at home on a portable. It makes for an exhilarating arcade racing experience, rekindling memories of a golden era when Namco?s flagship racer was at the forefront of console gaming.
Rather than an out and out new instalment, Ridge Racer consists mostly of elements featured in previous instalments of the franchise. It has two tracks from each of the four original PlayStation incarnations as well as the arcade-only Rave Racer, plus two new ones adapted from this game. So, if you?ve been counting that?s a dozen racetracks, plus a dozen more thanks to the as-ever amply used reverse courses. Almost without exception the tracks are ...
