Advantages: great feel and control over well struck shots Disadvantages: head size
...These clubs are stunning and suprisingly easy to use for blades. Their looks are second to none which always adds confidence when your standing over your ball!
The best aspects of these clubs are the feel and feedback received. If the ball is struck from the centre of the club it flies arrow straight to the target on a slightly lower than normal trajectory. Off centre hits are felt making it easier to know where you are going wrong so that you can practice and become a better golfer.
The one downfall of these irons for me is that the size of the clubhead is smaller than the average blade meaning that they are ideally suited to better golfers although I started playing with these when I had a handicap of 12 and found they were relatively forgiving but not as much as cavity back or forged irons.

Advantages: Solid Irons which will last through the ages Disadvantages: Hard to compete with the new technology
...A well respected and tour proven iron. Obviously it will not be found in the bags of current professionals and many club golfers but it will always be a thoroughbred in the ranks of all time irons. Advantages: Brilliant, technologically advanced golf club. Simply the best driver I have *EVER* used! Disadvantages: Costs an arm and a leg
...The Cleveland Hibore XLS driver is so new to the market that at present Cleveland are only just releasing it to golf professional shops throughout the UK and Ireland.
Cleveland's marketing strategy is simply superb. Instead of spending an absolute fortune on *VERY* expensive TV and glossy magazine advertising, they have instead sent a selection of demonstration drivers to club professionals to be loaned out to golfers to play a round or two with before they decide whether or not to invest in the golf club. And believe me, this new Cleveland driver is indeed an investment, as it is to retail here in Ireland at a whopping 376 Euros! (That's about four times the price I paid for my first full set of 14 matched golf clubs!) I'll return later to why I think Spalding's marketing strategy is so effective, but for the moment let's look...
