This is a good shoe for climbers with narrow feet and heels. The rubber is fairly sticky and they\'re a good, fairly comfortable shoe for medium grade climbers (I\'d love to say for higher grade climbers, but since I am not one... Still I've seen pics of the rock god/godesses in the mags wearing them, so they must be good for them too!) The back of the heel/ankle is quite severe and can dig into the achilles a bit, but I found giving the rubber ...
...a bit - they become comfy fairly quickly. The rubber is fairly resilient and lasts well on grit and indoors. My only criticism is that, being red suede, the colour seems to leech out quite a lot at first, but if you don't mind looking like you have some foot disease then I guess that's okay too... ...

Review of Scarpa Vision

Brought me back into climbing with confidence

Advantages: Comfy, grippy, good fit with laces
Disadvantages: Not much

...I had never heard of Scarpa and took a chance buying them over a more well known (for me at least) brand and I'm confident that I made the right choice. After a year and half of (not weekly but frequent) climbing they aren't falling appart at all. The stitches in the seams are still tight and there's not a hint of fraying or sagging in the uppers. Advantages: Comfortable and durable

Merrell Siren Shoe
