This tent is ideal for two people - for three it might be a bit pushed for space! It features a tall living space - which comes with a groundsheet and a lower smaller sleeping area.
The tent is fairly easy to put up! we have even done it in the dark, the poles and loops are colour coded so you know where to thread each rod. The rods fit together nicely and have no trouble getting them through or taking them out - remember to push the rod and not pull otherwise the connections with come loose!
Once all the rods are in place you can see the shape of the tent - pegging it down is very time consuming, there are lots of peg loops and a skirt which runs right around the tent...this can be folded up in the day to let air in, we tend not to use it because of all the pegs, but its comforting knowing your securely pegged down!
There are two entrances either side of the larger `living area'. This area is quite big - we manage to get two chairs and a small table in there. The doors can be opened out onto poles and guy ropes to give a small gazebo and some shade if its hot.
The outer tent is put up before the inner tent - this has the advantage that in the rain you don’t get the sleeping area wet while putting it up! The inner tent is easy to put up, just thread togs through small plastic circular rings. And It looks a bit like a spiders web when up.
One major disadvantage is the groundsheet for the inner tent, its a very thin blue material and it seems to absorb some of the water. When we pack the tent away its all muddy and wet so I recommend you to buy an additional groundsheet to put under the inner tent to protect it.
Overall this tent is perfect design wise, its nice to have a big area to sit in, stand up - eat your dinner etc etc We have had some problems with water dripping down in the mornings but I think that is due to condensation. A good looking tent for a good holiday! Recommended!

We've just bought one of these after i had read the review.
We had our first break away in it last week and once you get used to it I am sure it will be easier to put up (howling gale around the ankles due to gap at bottom!! - blaming husband for - the gap not the gale !).
To update this slightly the new 2004 model has a really good clear roof section which can be zipped up at night. It really makes the tent a lot lighter.
Very good review.

hiya, good op. I have a friend who has a coleman tent and he swears by it. They do seem very good value for money. Rob.
