My girlfriend works in a florist’s and I regularly get roped in to help out with the deliveries whenever I’m available. The van they have for the task is a red, T registration Vauxhall Combo van. So because of my experience I have decided to write an opinion on it, and also I haven’t written one on a car for a while.
The cab is based on the ever-popular Corsa that unfortunately is immediately apparent as soon as you see them. As with many small vans on the market at the moment the van looks like it has had a square metal box bolted onto the back of it, much like the Fiesta based Courier.
The Combo is powered by the 1.9 Vauxhall diesel engine, although some of the earlier models may have the Isuzu power plant under the bonnet. The performance is more than adequate pulling well through all the gears ...

Advantages: Very versatile, easy to use, space saving Disadvantages: not the best playback quality I've seen
It was while packing last year, ready to move house, that we first realised that every record of our children's lives was recorded on Video Tapes, and that not only was there a possibility that the tapes would have started to deteriorate, but also who, in the future, would have a VCR on which to watch our treasured recordings.
Once we had settled in our new home, we looked into this problem in greater detail. I looked into the possibility of linking the output of our VCR into our home computer, and then transferring the contents of each tape onto DVD via a DVD writer.
There appeared to be various options available but each required a DVD writer for the computer, a Video Capture device to connect between the VCR and computer, and suitable software to enable the editing out of any bits we no longer wanted to keep, and to allow ...

tradition we had our normal debate about where we were going to go, as usual nobody would make a decision, so we flicked through the Island Pocket Guide that we'd picked up on the car ferry and went flicked through the various attractions and places to visit. Finally we came across Colemans Farm, we first visited Colemans Farm last year whilst on holiday on the Island and we'd all very much enjoyed our day there so we decided to go back again.
Colemans Farm is situated in Porchfield which is near Newport. It is located in the middle of the countryside so is probably not very accessible if you don't have a car, although there is quite a good bus service on the Island and you may be able to catch a bus to a nearby village and walk to Porchfield. I don't know if this is possible but I'm sure one of the many Tourist Information Centres ...
