Mothercare's Cosysnooze - A Seat Belt Pillow For Kids

Advantages: Easy to fit. Well made. Very comfortable.
Disadvantages: Aesthetically uninspiring

INTRODUCTION When we switched from using a full infant car seat to a booster seat for our four year old daughter, one of the unexpected side effects was the loss of side support for her head when she fell asleep. We found she liked to flop forward against the seat belt, with her head unsupported and the belt itself chafing her uncomfortably around the throat area, and more often than not, waking her up. There is nothing quite like the peace and quiet you get when the kids are asleep, and parents with young children in particular, will fully appreciate the utility of the family car in conveying their precious cargo to the land of Nod. Conversely, there is nothing quite so grumpy or taciturn as a child prematurely roused from deep sleep, so to have our little one?s blissful slumber rudely interrupted by her seat belt was annoying ...

Bump Belt, every pregnant woman should have one!

Advantages: A true life saver and so simple to use
Disadvantages: None!

I can't believe I had forgotten about this product! I was checking out the nct (National Childbirth Trust) website for the current prices of another product I am reviewing when I saw the Baby Safe Bump Belt. I was so enthused by this innovative product that I stopped doing what I was doing and started to write this review straight away! This is another fantastic product and it is so simple and easy to use, yet it can save the life of your unborn child. Every pregnant woman should have one! I can't remember how I came to buy mine but I guess it must have been while on yet another trawl through the catalogues while pregnant and off sick (I was on sick leave and practically housebound due to problems with my hips for the last FIVE MONTHS of my pregnancy - aghhh!!). Initially, I was rather reluctant to let people see that I was ...

WE'RE ALL OFF TO COLEMANS FARM E, I, E, I, O

Advantages: A great inexpensive day out away from the crowds
Disadvantages: May not be very accessible without a car

tradition we had our normal debate about where we were going to go, as usual nobody would make a decision, so we flicked through the Island Pocket Guide that we'd picked up on the car ferry and went flicked through the various attractions and places to visit. Finally we came across Colemans Farm, we first visited Colemans Farm last year whilst on holiday on the Island and we'd all very much enjoyed our day there so we decided to go back again. Colemans Farm is situated in Porchfield which is near Newport. It is located in the middle of the countryside so is probably not very accessible if you don't have a car, although there is quite a good bus service on the Island and you may be able to catch a bus to a nearby village and walk to Porchfield. I don't know if this is possible but I'm sure one of the many Tourist Information Centres ...
