, with my mates. I lost count of the number of times we had to stop for nan (and the dog) to wee, and each time she seemed to take an age to get back into the car. Consequently, our journey took much longer than it needed to and we were all really tired and fed up by the time we eventually arrived.
Finally, we reached our destination, only to find out that the 6-berth caravan dad had booked, was in fact a five berth one. Nan had a real go at dad, and told him he'd "messed up as usual". Then there was a fight over who got to sleep where. There were two double beds and one single one. Advantages: Each side inflates separately allowing for different weights and preventing sinking in middle. Disadvantages: None really
We are now on our second Coleman comfort bed as the first one sustained a puncture and we were too lazy to repair it! The best thing about this airbed is that you pump each side up individually. This prevents the 'sinking into the middle' effect that normally happens after a couple of days. It also means that you can inflate each side to your individual needs (softer on one side for example).
The last time we used our airbed, we needed to top it up halfway through the week but that was all - we use an electric pump though so it's not exactly hard work! The other thing I like about this airbed is that it is flat, i.e. no raised pillow bit so you can use your own pillows more comfortably.

corner. We thought it was our tent erecting skills that were at fault here, but it still does it when we've had other people help.
Even though it is double skinned, it suffers very badly with condensation, and I mean badly on some occasions!! So much so, that we thought it had rained over night and leaked. Many a time we've had to lift all the airbeds and dry the ground sheet with towels!
It's not as big as the manufacturers would claim. To me, fitting 8 people in this would be a squash, unless they were the Borrowers!!!!
I've heard many people say that this tent is quick to put up but we didn't find it could be done in minutes..........unless you mean about 40 minutes! It took 4 of us that long from scratch, but I reckon that is about average and most people we see at campsites take about this long to do a full and proper job.
