One Monster Mattress!!!

Advantages: Very comfortable, easy to inflate
Disadvantages: Bit large for little old ladies, bit smelly when new

did!! The argument went on a bit longer as me and my brother argued over who would have to share a bed with nan - he lost and I got to sleep with mum! The following day dad said his back and shoulders hurt him so bad that he was going to buy a camping mattress to sleep on as he couldn't stand another six nights of torture on the floor(he does exaggerate). That morning we all traipsed out in the car again for another hour, to find a camping shop. It wasn't very big and there wasn't great deal to choose from in the way of mattresses, but we found one we liked the look of, and the picture on the box made it look like it would be very comfortable once it was inflated. The particular one we bought was a Coleman raised quick bed large single mattress. It was reduced from £42.99 to £34.99 but dad needed to buy a pump to get it to inflate ...

Singles

Advantages: perfect little gem of a film
Disadvantages: none

?I?d try to comprehend you but I got a dyslexic heart?? Singles, Cameron Crowe?s 1992 tale of the twentysomething search for love in Seattle, is one of my all-time favourite films. This sweet, episodic mix of neatly interlinking storylines is very human, very funny and has probably the best soundtrack of any film in that decade (yes, that includes Pulp Fiction). ?How did this stuff get so complicated? I don?t know.? The storyline strands are relatively few, and this is why the film continues to be coherent and believable. Poor Linda has been dumped on more times than she cares to remember, so is in no mood to meet Steve, who might just be the love of her life. Steve?s ex Janet is, meanwhile, in love with her neighbour in the block of ?singles? in which they live, but Cliff is just too wrapped up in his music to give a damn ...

Coleman Weathermaster tent

Advantages: A reasonable sized tent for the average family
Disadvantages: Quite heavy and bulky

corner. We thought it was our tent erecting skills that were at fault here, but it still does it when we've had other people help. Even though it is double skinned, it suffers very badly with condensation, and I mean badly on some occasions!! So much so, that we thought it had rained over night and leaked. Many a time we've had to lift all the airbeds and dry the ground sheet with towels! It's not as big as the manufacturers would claim. To me, fitting 8 people in this would be a squash, unless they were the Borrowers!!!! I've heard many people say that this tent is quick to put up but we didn't find it could be done in minutes..........unless you mean about 40 minutes! It took 4 of us that long from scratch, but I reckon that is about average and most people we see at campsites take about this long to do a full and proper job. This has ...
