As remember paid about £18 per tyre. They lasted for over one year where cycling about 160 kilometres a week. I was extremely pleased with them. Honestly can not say anything wrong about these tyres. Rolling resistance is very low, so thanks that you should be more about to achieve higher speed. Continental supplied some models with reflective sidewall to increase your safety during nigh. I got this model and have to say that it really works well. As long as you keep your tyres quite clean they will reflect light brilliantly. Folded Ears

Advantages: The best companion you could hope for
Disadvantages: The breeding

-------------- Well they eat when they are hungry which is about right when you think about it; however they eat little amounts at a time. They are very fussy eaters because they like to have food placed in a bowl in front of them; they never go to find the food. In this I mean they do not meow at you for food they just have it when you choose to give it to them. There drinking habits are very good, they seem to just be so quiet when drinking and at times you worry they are not drinking at all. They do drink but same as the food little amounts over the day. Ears ------ I want to discuss the ears further as to be fair some people are going to find this just weird how they are folded. Continental Grand Prix 4000

Advantages: Lightweight and fast, should be hard wearing...
Disadvantages: Expensive, but worth it !

Just been for my first ride on my new Continental Grand Prix 4000 tyres, and thought I'd let you know about them. I know it's only a first use test, but will update this review when I've had them for a while. Also, I've assumed that if you're reading this, you have some interest and/or knowledge of bicycles. I hope that's OK... Continental have over 100 years experience in the development and production of road and mountain bike tyres, at the Continental Two-Wheel division's technology and development centre in Korbach in Germany. The Grand Prix 4000 road/race tyre is the sucessor to the excellent Grand Prix 3000 that I've had on my bike for 2 years or so. It's a "clincher" tyre (as opposed to a tubular tyre), so should fit most road/race wheels/rims. It was a bit of a narrow decision between these and the Continental Attack ...
