a little stretch etc. This was no problem. In fact the we were allocated a whole "3 row" section as the flight was not fully booked.
The only other slight problem, was with the operational side of Newark Airport - Apparently the evening flights get very congested, and the Captain was very apologetic when he announced we were in the "Mid 20's for the take-off Q..." We took around 50 minutes taxiing before we took off, but we made up some of the time in-flight and only arrived around 40 minutes later than scheduled. Again bag collection was fast and easy.

of different sizes. For gifts I generally buy the Premium Box which comes in an oval box, 320g and is £12, not too bad in my opinion for a nice gift. A bit pricey when compared to a box of Quality Street, but you are paying for quality as well. You can buy little bags of your favourite Continental, for example a bag of just the Alpini?s costs £2.99 for a 130g bag which probably has about 10 chocolates in it. If you want to go absolutely crazy and really make someone day there is the Continental Premium Gift Box which weighs 1575g, has 4 layers of chocolates and costs £50, yummy! ...
Advantages: Lightweight and fast, should be hard wearing... Disadvantages: Expensive, but worth it !
& Lemon yellow. The tyre sidewall for all these colours is black, unlike the old 3000's where multi-coloured sidewalls were available :(
(Apparently, the gold, silver and bronze options ("Xserallic" colours, developed by Merck) represent the medals that were won on Continental tyres at the world championships and Olympic Games !)
There's an "Activated Silica Compund" in these tyres that's supposed to provide lots of grip, but low rolling resistance, and a new anti-cracking formula should prevent UV light from damaging the rubber - this was a certainly bit of a problem with my previous tyres, GP3000's, so let's hope this works. Watch this space...
