I have been using this machine for the past two weeks. I had previously used one at my local gym but the wait to get on the machine could be lengthy as it has proved so popular with people of all ages. The one I now have at home seems to be almost as powerful as the more expensive model in the gym and I can use it when I want.
It has proved useful for getting more from exercises such as sit-ups and press-ups as the constant vibration really makes you use your core, concentrate on staying balanced and seemingly makes your muscles work harder. People I know who have used the machine for a few months believe their muscle tone to be improving!
I have also found my recovery to be better after a long run if I use the machine whilst doing stretches.
The reason I suggest using the machine in private is that many of the stretches recommended require you to get into quite embarrassing positions with your bottom pushed outwards or skywards, your teeth chatter due to the vibration and if you try to talk you sound like a robot!
