Advantages: good protection, looks good Disadvantages: prefer white version to reflect sun better, sweat
...to be fair, with the ECB logo does look pretty cool. From my point of view the downside ( due to a bald head no doubt ) is the fact that whilst wearing it there can be a build up of sweat around the rim on a very hot day! This can be very irritable and uncomfortable.
The white version of this product is definetly preferable due to sun reflective quality and therefore the ability to keep cool ...
...review is not just about Gunn and Moore helmet
I find disgussing and purchasing cricket equipment a very interesting subject. I personally play cricket at a reasonably high level and have therefore used many items of equipment, produced by different brands. I have also been offered various sponsorship deals and am now astute to what equipment would be reccommenedable.
I will be looking at a very stylish brand gunn and moore and analysing their ... ...most brand - ENJOY!
Gunn and Moore is a truly magnificent brand whixh I would say focussed more on producing high quality protective equipment - to be honest top of the range in terms of the cricketing equipment circuit. I would personally say that the bats that Gunn and Moore produce, aren't of the highest standard! However, I must say now, that I rate Gunn and Moore as the best brand. My number one brand taking everything into account ...
Advantages: Good Protection, Durable Disadvantages: Uncomfortable
...However, in my experience the masuri junior was uncomfortable. After a few years of solid use, the polystyrene began to break and fall off. This polystyrene is very difficult to replace. In my case I had to purchase a new helmet as it would not have protected me properly if my helmet was struck.
For this product i paid roughly £30-40, which i feel is slightly overpriced, however the product does endure for a very long time. ...

Review of Masuri Junior
This helmet may be one of the most expensive helmets on the market but it is the most expensive for a reason! I believe the first designs of the helmet were designed by the England test player Robin Smith, with a focus on erradicating any blind spots that were always present in older style helmets. And what a success this was! There is a minimal amount of bars making up the grill of the helmet and those that are used are very thin and are little ... ...of the dreaded black spots where you can't see the ball pitch.
The idea of the titanium grill is also inspired, you are able to bat for long periods of time (not that i tend to!) without getting that pain in your neck with the weight of the helmet and in comparison to other older style, heavier helmets, you literally hardly notice you are wearing it.
The build quality is fantastic on the helmet and grill itself and I have full faith in its ability ...
Advantages: Lightweight, Strong, Adjustable and Comfortable. Disadvantages: Price tag
...the best feature of the Masuri Titanium is how light it is. This helped me keep my head still when playing shots and moving my head into line with ease. There was additionally a significant reduction in the number of neck injuries I suffered in comparison with older helmets. The strength of the helmet has been tested on numerous occasion withstanding direct blows to the grille and glancing blows to the headpiece while wicket-keeping, with only superficial ... ...In terms of comfort the Masuri Titanium has an adjustsble velcro strap and achin strap with foam padding. These are both great at keeping the structure close to the head with no movement when running as well as allowing for 'onesize fits all'. The cushion at the brow of the helmet collects any sweat which can form during a long, hard innings and the holes in the top help condition the head preventing overheating. The helmet has moulded its shape ...
