Sounds strange writting a review about shoes but it has to be said these shoes deserve a review and a good one at that. Crocs advertise their product as the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear,and they could be right !!
At first sight these look like many other plastic clog type slip ons,but just slip them on to feel the difference, these shoes really are comfortable in the extreme. They are made from an almost jelly like substance which is very light and soft as well as being very durable.
The secret to the good fit is the strap that goes around the back. You soon find your wearing these ALL the time,they are easy to work in,drive in,garden in, to use on the beach or just as slippers around the house. After trying my first pair (the Cayman style shown here) I quickly bought a pair of closed front style for use at work (where I stand and walk all day on stone floors) and I dont plan to ever wear any other shoes at work from now on. In the USA these have become quite the 1st choice for nurses because of there comfort and ease of cleaning.
If there is a down side its that the closed style could get a little warm but Crocs are bringing out a lined style to over come this. also they are VERY soft , nurses have had problems with dropped syringes going straight through them , I my self use very sharp knives at work and a dropped knife did slice straight through the shoe (but missed my foot i might add). They are very hard wearing, my home pair have been right round the world from Hawaii to the Philipeans and right across europe and Im still wearing them as every day slippers and driving shoes here in the UK. My work pair are in use every work day for 10 hours, and even with the knife cut show no sighs at all of wear or of falling apart.
As kids run about shoes they seem to me to be second to none,hard wearing,comfortable and reasonable to replace as the childs feet grow,are they good for developing feet, that I cant say ,I have know expertise in that.
Take a quick look at the Crocs site before deciding which style to buy,there are many to pick from, but the Caymen is the most popular and most versitile.
Bottom line, I wouldn't be with out my Crocs now and yes, I think they are the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear.

My Mum-in-law loves these....I just think they look a bit like blocks of lego on your feet, although I'm sure they are very comfortable! Good review, Caroline xx

It's just a shame they look so bizarre! Love my crocs but would never wear them out.
