I am on my feet a lot during the day and have to have comfortable shoes. I don't really care what they look like either! When I first came across crocs it was on the feet of a close friend. I thought they looked interesting, not gorgeous just interesting. She followed my gaze and told me they were the most comfortable shoes she had ever worn. As we have the same size feet she tossed me one to try on. It felt like heaven and I knew I would have to buy a pair!
Crocs, for those of you who don't know, are made of very lightweight rubber. They are a bit like a clog with holes around the sides and on the front. The footed has raised rubber bits in a footshape. The sole and shoe are moulded as one. The sole is ridged to make it non-slip. Crocs come in a huge range of colours including pink, blue, green and yellow to name a few.
I usually take a size 5 shoe and was advised by the shop assistant to buy the same size in crocs. However I found I needed to get a size bigger. I strongly advise you to try a pair on before buying! Crocs should fit loosely. There should be about ¼ inch space between your toe and the end of the shoe, and ¼ of an inch from your heel to the end of the shoe. The back strap should also fit loosely.
When I first got my new crocs (in bright yellow) home my children were not impressed. My 5 year old laughed and said I had clowns feet on! I guess they do look a bit (well a lot actually) like clowns feet. My 10 year old said my feet and body didn't match! But I was unconcerned!
I have had my beloved Crocs for about 6 months now and they are wearing well. I wear them around the house, in the garden and for walking to the shops. They are great for wearing on the beach or to the swimmingpool. The sole gives good grip when the ground is wet. As they are made of rubber crocs can get wet and dry quickly.
The most important thing for me when it comes to footwear is comfort. Crocs are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I'm not sure I will be wearing them in the winter however as they look awful with socks and I do have some pride!
Crocs say they will prevent your feet from getting sweaty. I don't have sweaty feet so can't comment. They do keep my feet cool however.
I paid about £25 for my crocs. They are widely available and come highly recommend!

Great review! I always thought Crocs were jsut a little bit too funny for me to wear, but lots of ppl say the shoes feel great on your foot, so last summer I bought crocs flip-flops and they're great as well! Thanks for the dignity considering socks in such kind of shoes, I'm getting goosebumps seeing ppl who haven't obviously even heard such a dignity existed! radka

Nicely reviewed. I've yet to own a pair but I may consider them in time for my next holiday.
