Having looked for set's of travel boots for many little ponies over the years, I have to admit the Cuddly Ponies range is fantastic.
Their entire range of rugs and equestrian gear is superbly made, with materials that do not rub the ponies coat, and most of all are tailored to a ponies conformation. Many rug companies just resize the design of their rug and equipment patterns, which often means that the fit is not suitable to a small pony.
The travel boots are very tough and dureable, are waterproof, and most of all correctly protect the ponies hocks. I have often used travel bandages for little ponies, which is often time consuming in a rush. Using Cuddly ponies travel boot's saves alot of time, and often mean's that the ponies legs are much better protected, due to the much thicker material of the boot, which ensures to coronet band all the way to the hock is protected.
Not once have i found these boots to be prone to slipping, something that is very much feared over with horse travel boots, however i can happily reccomend them after using many pairs myself.
I have never experienced them to rip or be damaged. The 100D denier proves a good resistance to knocks and scrapes, yet still ensures that should horse horse become stuck, the boot would tear under the right amount of pressure, meaning that the ponies leg will be freed, and less likely to be injured if they should panic.
Often these excellent boots crop up on Ebay. Aside from online bidding sites, they are available at such places as Derby house, a large, well known equestrian shopping center. They are also available at such places as Equestrian clearance, Horseloverz and Speedyequestrian, which are all fantastic online equestrian sites easily accessed by Google.
The prices vary largely, especially with the credit crunch. I bought my first CP travel boots at £26, however I have seen many as low as £17. Shop around and have a good look at some of the small sellers on ebay, or online equestrian sites, your bound to find some at the lesser end of the market!
