Cuddly Pony Travel Boots

Disadvantages: Similar boots are cheaper

...Rhino have again produced a very high quality item. These boots are firm enough to be self supporting, yet flexible enough to mould and bend with the horses legs. They also passed my own 'kick' test. (I.e. put the over your own leg and give yourself a sharp kick in the achilles, ankle and shin.) They are well made and robust, mine are still giving excellent service despite being used several times a week for two years. Not actually sure if they will ever wear out, so a good value for money product for high volume usage. Easy to clean too, just brush off the worst, or sponge and leave to dry. Haven't actually put mine through a washing machine though, but have washed both the insides and outsides separately with good results. I would buy these again.... Read review

...as some people call them, come in different styles. The Masta Travel Boots are a good style in my opinion. Generally speaking the boots cover the lower leg. Some extend below the coronet band and above the hock and knee, while some don`t so select your boots carefully. The coronet is the band around the top of the hoof which can be quite sensitive if knocked. The hock is on the hind leg and of course the knee on the front leg, are all points that may need protecting. ...I have two ponies, both of whom wear a pair of Bioflow Brushing Boots. I initially purchased a pair for my 18 year old Welsh Cob, who suffers from arthritis in her fetlocks. When the boots arrived, they came in a handy drawstring bag, which I use to wash them in (they go in the washing machine). They also had an instruction booklet with details of how long they can be worn for and how to clean them. They only come in one colour- black, but I think this is the most practical anyway. The styling is not the most modern, but it is practical and they do look good. The boots are very sturdy. I opted for the brushing boots as my ponies live out and I thought these would be more practical.
