Shed these pounds in comfort of own home!
Review of York 2 in 1 Rower and Cycle by Maestrolover

Advantages: Sturdy robust machine combining bike and rower features
Disadvantages: Needs sufficient space and heavy to shift around

It was one of these ghastly moments when you KNOW you have to take a deep breath and DO something - and not just a deep breath to try forlornly to get into the size 12 black trousers you normally have no problem wearing! Then there was that strange panting noise while lugging the laden Tesco shopping bags home.... was that really me? Definitely a loud wake up call to try and shed a few pounds! I'd been thinking randomly about getting some kind of ...
...earnest decided that it would make sense to find something which combined several features in one. As it happens, Tesco Direct had a Triple Points offer on and I saw this machine featured - and also read the other review here - which I found really helpful in comparing this to other possible models. My main concern when the LARGE package arrived was if I would manage to fit it together OK on my own, as I am by no means an expert in anything DIY ... Read review

Proteus PAR-5500 Programmable Air/Magnetic Rower
Review of Proteus PAR-5500 Programmable Air/Magnetic Rower by ddtowe

Advantages: Durable, versatile, heavyweight, fully programmable
Disadvantages: Very heavy, need to be plugged in for computer to work.

I have found this to be an excellent rowing machine, especially after using the concept rowers at gyms. It compares very well against them. The computer gives you the ability to really up the tension as you progress. It also offers you bespoke programmes similar to that in treadmills and cycling machines for overall cariovascular workouts. You can even direct the air back on you to provide some much needed air whilst you are woking out. It needs ... Read review

Review of One Body One Body Rowing Action Exerciser by noddytiger

Advantages: cheap and easy to store
Disadvantages: beginners only

...body. I chose this one as it is a lot cheaper and smaller so easier to store than the other rowing machines and to begin with it was great but there is no way of tightning the tension so once your body has got used to it it doesnt do a lot for you other than cardiovascular, this realy is for beginners only. ... cycling but going no where
Review of York C102 Heritage Upright Cycle by noddytiger

Advantages: great excercise
Disadvantages: uncomfortable seat

This excersise bike is great for the price, it has a sensor in the hand grip that monitors your pulse wholst you are on the bike, has a screen which is quite big so very clear to see that you can check what your pulse is, how far you have cycled, calories burned and how long you have been on the bike. There is a black dial further down from the handle bars that allows you to change the resistance at the same time as riding the bike so you can make ... Read review
