I've Got Soft Balls!

Advantages: Extra distance with the driver. Excellent control and spin. Well priced high performance golf ball for the average golfer.
Disadvantages: Meaningless advertising.

in the region of 85 to 90mph. In fact, it's probably a bit less, as I was conscious of being measured, and consequently most likely swung the club that little bit harder, albeit unconsciously! ~ ~ So what does this mean to me in terms of what golf ball I should use? The slower speed at which I now swing the club means that I'm simply not able to compress the ball as much as I was able in years gone by. This is especially so with balls like the Titleist Pro V. This means that I don't hit it as far as I used to. This is where the Srixon Soft Feel ball comes into its own. My current driver, the TaylorMade 580XD, is one of the best on the market when it comes to transferring the energy from the club head to the ball. In the golf world this is called the COR factor, and the 580XD has an amazing COR factor of 0.87. This means it transfers ...

Have You Hard Or Soft Balls?

Advantages: Cheap to purchase. Virtually indestructable. Travels a long way.
Disadvantages: Hard to control, with little or no spin control.

either the right or left. What most longer handicap golfers are most concerned with is the actual distance they can hit the ball, and it?s in this department that the Srixon Distance excels. It?s a two-piece construction, solid-core ball with a high velocity core and a hard, durable ?Ionomer? cover. Don?t ask me what ?Ionomer? actually means, mind you. Golf ball manufacturers are forever coming up with new buzzwords to try to convince potential purchasers that they have made some sort of breakthrough in design, which will dramatically improve their game. The truth is that ?Ionomer? is just another buzzword for an extremely durable surlyn (hard rubber) outer cover. What this hard outer cover means to the average golfer is that the ball will come of the club head with less spin and a higher trajectory, and thus travel further in the air ...

Review of Srixon Distance Golf Balls

Top Golf, Watford

Advantages: Suitable for everyone, fun and interactive
Disadvantages: There are only a few in the country

seeem like a lot of money but means that each game you play is costing you a lot less. The great thing about these offers is that you can split the credits between cards so that four people can club together and pay £25.00 each for a £100.00 offer and really benefit from cheaper games and credits that will last for ages. Are the clubs and balls provided? Yes all of the balls are provided, they need to do this as each ball has a special microchip insisde them. You can use your own golf clubs or borrow some from top golf. They have a range of different clubs to borrow and cater for children as young as five years old. You do not need to pay for hire of clubs or balls. I've joined top golf, what do I do if I want to play? If you think it might be busy you need to book a bay. For a person with standard membership you ...
