...I have being playing golf for since I was a teenager and over the years have tried various balls - and of late, since gaining a reasonable handicap, have always opted for slightly softer balls, that give more control and feel around the greens. Now to my mind the best ball out there for distance and feel is the Titleist Pro V1x and for a couple of seasons that is all I used, however since buying the house a few years ago and not playing as much golf as I used to the £30(+) per dozen is a little bit too much. So of late I have been using the Topflight Zbalata - which I hopefully write a review on shortly - but a couple of weeks ago I won 6 Maxfli Revolution. Advantages: Lots of spin and a bit of extra distance
Disadvantages: Still marks and scuffs fairly easily

...) You can also achieve extra distance by using a one-piece solid golf ball. But to be honest, I always felt like I was hitting a stone when I played with one of these, and the lack of “feel” and spin always put me off using them. ~ ~ But just recently I think I might just have come across the solution to my problem! It’s a new golf ball (well, relatively new) called the ‘Maxfli Revolution’. I first heard about it when one of the Sky Sports commentators happened to mention that a number of the top professionals had began to use it in preference to the balata ball, as it was giving them extra distance without sacrificing spin and feel on their iron shots. Advantages: safe bit of gear, great forwall use and beginners
Disadvantages: can just be awkward and annoying - especially outdoors

...just before i begin, just like to point out those who dont climb might not understand much of what im taking about. sorry, it just really helps if you do. i brought the belay master to help keep rope and stuff that little bit tidier on those long multi-pitch routes. it basically consists of two parts, an HMS screw gate and a strange little plastic bit that clips over both sides to divide the crab in half along its length the HMS screw gate is actually that little bit heavier than other gates on the market (only by a few grams, but it all adds up!). but feeling it in your hand, it becomes clear that it is a strong robust piece of kit. and it does what every screw gate on the market does, and is built to a very high standard. however, compared to other HMS gates this one is a little smaller and so the gates opening arc...
