One of the smallest and lightest of DMM's locking biners this is the one if weight is the issue. Big enough for all your climbing needs yet so light it won't weight you down. Fairly heavy, especially compared to a wiregate, but then this is needed for that added ... ...with one hand, its particularly suited to traditional climbing at crags. My has seen me through the years and taken quite a few falls as i was learning the ropes, so to speak, and other than some scratches it works as smoothly as when i first bought it.

This happens to be the first, the very first karabiner that i ever bought and i've been through so many over the last 13 years that it amazes me how krabs have evolved from cumbersome bricks of metal into small, nimble and light devices.
