How did i get there.....
I drove there and it was really easy to find. It is situated just off the A34 which is really close to Manchester Airport. I just rolled up in my car in the free parking area.
First Impressions of the area......
Not bad actually. It was on a complex wich contained the gym, a brewsters restaraunt ... ...also been to visit the David Lloyd in Manchester. Again, really good service throughout, although i did prefer the Food and Beverage area in Manchester. Manchester also has no outdoor swimming pool, but does possess the other facilities and very high standards. Bad Points.....
The cost of membership is very high for a health club. The price is just under £600 a year. ...

Advantages: Good changing rooms, a good amount of aerobic equipment Disadvantages: Not enough free weights and weight based equipment as a whole.
I've been a member of David Lloyd Cheadle for nearly seven years now (since 2001) and have always really enjoyed my experience there. O.K. it may be a bit expensive but for me it's (or was) well worth it, and they deserved to charge such an amount. However, since they've done the STUPID refurbishment in Summer 2007 they've made the club much worse! This is because there used to be more types of equipment before and two (sometimes three!) of each ... ...I would just say to David Lloyd Cheadle: "IF IT AINT BROKE WHY "FIX IT"??!!!." The Life Fitness equipment used before the refurbishment is sooooo much better then this technogym one currently in place (honestly I have no affiliation with either company) and if anyone knows another gym in the area with Life Fitness equipment in it then PLEASE let me know, so that I can join them ASAP. I hope this review has been useful. ...
