Advantages: The rugs are watertight even in torrential rain
Disadvantages: When used on my Welsh Cobs they tended to rub the shoulders

...I have owned and shown horses, mainly Welsh Cobs, for around eight years. I was first introduced to Rambo Rugs some seven years ago. Once tried I never used anything else. I found them to be watertight even in a huge downpour even at the seams. Even when very wet the rugs were still reasonably lightweight to carry and dry - often drying quite easily in a barn or tack room overnight. The only problem I had with the rugs was a slight tendency to rub on the horse's shoulder - this did not happen to every horse - and those where it occurred the use of a small "bib" under the rug soon solved the problem. In summer, during the showing season, the Rambo light was a godsend. After washing a grey horse I was quite happy to turnout to the field and no that he would come in quite clean the following morning. I prefer the traditional Rambo... Read review

Advantages: supurb allrounder
Disadvantages: not for the freestylers

...of layers of different materials squashed together. The base is made of plastic composite and has a steel edge. The steel edge provides a sharp edge on which the turns are made and also a heck of a lot more resilience to damage. The top layer of the board is fibreglass, which is light and durable. Sandwiched in-between the board is the most important middle layer, which is made of wood. Wooden cores provide more flexibility in the board than any other material. Boards without a wooden core are more liable to snap when you land jumps or fall over, as I do regularly.. The base is soft and pretty susceptible to gouges when you’re flying over rocks under thin snow… The top is pretty resilient, I’ve managed to come out of head on collisions with trees with only a minor chips in the board, which is very good. Advantages: Ultra light - great for all occasions
Disadvantages: Spurs wording fades on the collar very quickly

.... Then comes what in my opinion is the best sponsorship logo we have had in years. The Mansion logo and wording is vivid and really complements the rest of the kit. The logo is actually a transfer so be careful when it comes to ironing (turn it inside out and do it that way) Although the image shows the long sleeved version I have gone for the short sleeves as I think you can be more flexible about wearing it whilst out socialising. As soon as you see this shirt you will realise it is of very high quality, my only concern would be that because it is so light, it may be more prone to ripping if you were to take it off in a hurry or if you were to catch it on a branch or something similar.
