Delta Force Paintball are clearly one of the few big paintball organisations in the UK, but their agressive pricing structure to get you through the door is a bit of a misleading piece of marketing.
Who in their right mind is going to think that paintballing is going to be a really cheap day out ? Yet, Delta Force try to encourage such thinking !! Compare a days paintballing to any other extreme fun day out and the REAL prices are comparable. There is the game scenarios which are clearly expensive to build, the health and safety issues, staffing and training, the equipment and rental of the land in most cases.
As for outright gameplay.... they are good... but no cigar !!! The level of investment in the playing scenarios just isn't as good as their larger competitor Skirmish Paintball who really add something extra in their imagination and playing scenarios with many of their fields across the country so addictive that I just cant help myself revisiting them again and again. I use the website http://www.skirmishpaintballgames.co.uk to find many of the top most paintballing game sites in the UK from all the way down in Bristol to paintballing in Hampshire, Leeds and even up in Scotland with great Paintballing sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
In my opinion, and after visiting around 5 Delta Force venues, the Skirmish Paintball guys win for better game play, fair and upfront pricing for the day, rest facilities - (Skirmish Norwich Paintball is very unique!) and locations.

I nearly didn't go to DF because of this review. Glad I did becuase it was waaaaaaaaaaaay better that the review suggested. I checked the reveiwer's other Ciao reviews (there were only 3). In his second review he claimed to have played at at Skirmishes all over the UK. Who would drive hundreds of miles from home to play paintball?? That review reads more like an advert for Skirmish, and this one as a 'dig' at a competitor. I don't think this what Ciao is about and that's why I find this review VERY UNHELPFUL.
