...On the 11th June 2001 at Charrington Bowl using the APEX I bowled a perfect Game of 300. I have been bowling 22 years and the best I had was 11 strikes in a row. The strikes were all in the 1-3 pocket.
When I got the first 10 strikes my legs became very wobbly and the last 2 strikes I could not beleive I got them. Well I guess if you persevere you will get there in the end.
A report can be found at the Big A League web site.

The APEX was very good on the night. I managed to get a 729 series.
This ball when handled well can achieve good scores. I beleive there is a newer APEX but I will check that out for next season.
Thanks goes to Geoff Buck for the drilling and advice....

...I bought a Polar CS300 about two months ago and I'm getting ready to send back the fourth watch to Polar. For those that don't know this monitor can upload your ride to Polars website via a sonic link. Well the first one had such a low volume it would take forever before I could get a good upload. Called Polar, sent it back and they sent me another one. Had the exact same problem. Sent it back, got another one. This one was fine as far a the uplink, BUT, about two weeks after I got it the speed quit showing, then the cadence would quit and the speed would start up. Then the heart rate would go crazy then the speed would quit. So on and so on. Sent it back, and got the fourth one yesterday. Went for a ride this morning, got back, tried to upload and nothing. Not a peep out of it. And they have the nerve to tell me they have had...

I did mention bungee cords earlier and I will pass this on, my Dr suggests if my leg gets tired and I am unable to rest; if I attach 2 bungee cords to my belt and link the fasteners under my heel, they will lift my leg back up for me saving on my own bodys resources. We will try that out this weekend and I will fill you in after wards by updating this review.
One last thing: Nordic walking

This is the style of walking with 2 poles and initially was summer training for cross country skiers and gives a time-efficient, low-stress, total body workout. Its not unusual to see people in Scandinavia using these poles while...

No volume control so you have to use the one on the phone (not hands free friendly), uncomfortable in the ear, changeable covers act as ear clip which feels tacky and the sound quality isn't great.
On the plus side, uses the same charger as my mobile... more

This is exactly "you get what you pay for" deal. Do not expect to get high quality results.
