Curry powder or paprika for winter Golden or maple syrup liquidized hot dogs liquidized sweetcorn strawberry jam(melted down mixed with a little milk) a mixture of brazil nuts and unsalted peanuts I always add birdseed to my boilies which contains hempseed and linseed fishlove it.... Advantages: Can help relieve boredom.
Disadvantages: May not be liked by all horses.

...? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The idea of it is to help relieve boredom for the horse. You place food or healthy treats inside and the horse has to work out how to get them out. By healthy treats it refers to carrots chopped up safely for the horse or apple. Carrots must always be cut lengthways because the horse can choke on them if they are chopped. You can also put feed in the boredom breaker. It is not much good for mix but nuts are dispensed easily by the horse from the boredom breaker. By nuts I don`t mean brazil nuts or hazel nuts, pony nuts are what horses prefer or cubes. Where to use it. * * * * * * * * * * * * It can be used in the stable or the field if you wish, though I consider it to be more appropriate for use in the stable.
