...Titleist makes the best golf balls, and has proven them selfs on the pro tour for many years. This is a Titleist budget ball with almost the same performance and feel as the more expensive brother the Pro V1. The Cheeter line is very helpfull, for somone that struggles to line up his putts and can even be used to line up the driver giving you better acurisy ultimitly saving you shots on a round. Launches good from the club face and has good controll arrount the greens, nice soft feel on irons giving you the confidence of a tour player. I woeld recomend this ball for the mid handicapper looking for a better ball but does not whant to pay the full price for the Pro V1 range.... Read review

Advantages: Brilliant, technologically advanced golf club. Simply the best driver I have *EVER* used!
Disadvantages: Costs an arm and a leg

...at the club itself. A few weeks back I turned up at my home golf club for my regular Tuesday morning fourball, and as usual popped into the club pro's shop to buy my soft drinks and choccy bars to sustain me during the round. The following conversation ensued. PRO: "Morning Ken. Seen the new demo driver's I just got in from Cleveland. I used one at the weekend and it's added about 30 to 40 yards to my drives!" (Ken's interest is immediately grabbed, as our young golf pro already hits the ball a proverbial mile) KEN: "Ah Tommy, (name changed) get away out of that will ya. You're always trying to flog me your expensive new drivers. Sure didn't I already spend a small fortune with you last year trying to replace my favourite TaylorMade driver. ...irons much further. This meant I could pick a shorter, easier to control club than I would have done before. And thus I hit more greens. Straight consistant Ball flight - Many balls tend to wobble in the air. The Pro V1 keeps a constant path which means if your shot is straight, it stays straight. It also seems to cut through the wind better than other balls. You get much better value for your good shots. Stop and Drop Technology - This is one of the most satisfying features of the Pro V1. It is always frustrating when you hit a green but the ball runs through. Changing to the Pro V1 meant this happened far less often. The ball had a better flight so came from higher, and when it landed there was far more spin on the ball keeping it on the green. Plus a ball that stops dead is a very satisfying site.
