SPACE 1999

Here we are again with another memorable sci-fi series from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson whose other 'Hits' included Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds and UFO.
Space 1999 was set on the Moon where a Moon base has been built and nuclear waste from the Earth was stored, but things are not well and soon the nuclear waste explodes blowing the moon out of earths orbit and sets it on a course out of the solar system.
The series then follows the crew left alive the Alpha moon base as the travel around the universe and as they meet many strange aliens and come across other civilizations and weird planets.
The program aired from 1975 - 1977 and actually only lasted for 2 series but with 24 episodes in each series it seemed to go on for a lot longer.

The trouble soon starts at the station when Lawson barges through the doors, unable to tell anyone what was happening.
Within minutes the station is under fire, bullets and glass flying everywhere, the people inside the station unable to call for help?there only hope for survival is to fight their way out?but with limited ammunition and no hope of rescue there chances are slim?.

**IN CONCLUSION**
I had heard about this movie many times before ...
Advantages: Superb looking and repectable brand Disadvantages: slightly uncomfortable ride
I must admit this bike is by far the best I've ever had even if it isn't perfect. I recently brought this bike for around £500 and although I've never looked back as to be honest I've got a bike from one the the most respected bike brands in the world.
So far I've only used the bike off road once and i must say i was reasonably disappointed.This is because a felt the 4 bar linkage system suspension was rather disappointing. When i ride this bike on the road the suspension is very capable of providing a ver comfortable ride however if like me you like to cycle off road now and then I must say this bike is not made for it.
That however does not mean this is poor diamondback as that is just not possible. It looks absolutely fantastic and for £500 i don't think you will get another bike from a brand with this much respect with Manitou 6 ...
