Here we are again with another memorable sci-fi series from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson whose other 'Hits' included Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds and UFO.
Space 1999 was set on the Moon where a Moon base has been built and nuclear waste from the Earth was stored, but things are not well and soon the nuclear waste explodes blowing the moon out of earths orbit and sets it on a course out of the solar system.
The series then follows the crew left alive the Alpha moon base as the travel around the universe and as they meet many strange aliens and come across other civilizations and weird planets.
The program aired from 1975 - 1977 and actually only lasted for 2 series but with 24 episodes in each series it seemed to go on for a lot longer.

Advantages: Erm.........could work if you can stomach the taste, informative, easy to understand. Disadvantages: Tastes bad, rather expensive. Tastes really bad.

Maximuscle Viper is a very bad tasting, overpriced energy drink powder.
i bought this product about a year ago from JJB sports for £17.99, (its still lying around somewhere, thats how bad it tastes!) as a supplement to have before a workout to give me that little extra boost. It does not do that. If anything the only muscles you use, or want to use after this, is your oesophagus to yak it back up! Whats more, when i did manage to stomach it, it doesnt do anything!
Now, it comes with instructions on what concentrations to use for certain times, eg. before, during and after exercise. If you go by this, the product will probably last a week. Not good seeing as it costs almost 20 quid. your better off making your own one from ...
Advantages: good value for money, in terms of price and effectiveness. not bad tasting Disadvantages: not great pre workout, as no real kick!! which is a bit of a let down.

So overall I'd say this product is a must, especially as a post workout drink to replace what you have lost during exercise. Its price is good, how long a tub lasts depends on how you use it, i.e. on the directions it says to use different amounts for pre, post and during exercise. But either way it will still workout a fair bit cheaper than buying a similar ...
