Advantages: Superb looking and repectable brand Disadvantages: slightly uncomfortable ride
...I must admit this bike is by far the best I've ever had even if it isn't perfect. I recently brought this bike for around £500 and although I've never looked back as to be honest I've got a bike from one the the most respected bike brands in the world.
So far I've only used the bike off road once and i must say i was reasonably disappointed. This is because a felt the 4 bar linkage system suspension was rather disappointing. When i ride this bike on the road the suspension is very capable of providing a ver comfortable ride however if like me you like to cycle off road now and then I must say this bike is not made for it.
That however does not mean this is poor diamondback as that is just not possible. It looks absolutely fantastic and for £500 i don't think you will get another bike from a brand with this much respect with Manitou 6...

Advantages: Looks Good, Smooth Gears, Hardcore, Not Too Light Or Too Heavy, Comfy Ride, Good Grip Disadvantages: Brakes Should Be Hydraulics, Forks Should Have Slightly More Travel
...The Chucker is now available online at around £320 in the black colour or £350 for the blue (which looks better in real life than it does in the pictures).
The Chucker handles jumps really well and, although the bash ring [the front part where the gear change happens- normally has about 3 cogs in it] is not best for speed & long distance road riding (I managed 40 miles in a day) but keeps the chain on during jumps. All the SRAM parts [all the parts to do with gears - changers, derraillier...] are capable of a lot of thrashing about and have a really smooth change. The rear derraillier [the mechanism that moves the chain from one gear to another] even stayed together with my friend jumping on it.
It is perfect for stunts as the front & forks are not too light (as in the Diamondback Groove) so you do not fall backwards during jumps...

...Ignore the price of the defier, ignore the grip and then consider the good points. If you're looking for a stylich, comfortable controlled trainer then the cons of the defier 2000 can surely be forgiven. This are absolutely golden, they look and feel like something from another world. The colours stand out and the comfort around the ankle allow you to move easily around the court. BUT.....like many tennis trainers they fall when it comes to grip. They were fine for indoor and when it be in for a rocky ride. yet again these trainers were let down by the price. However, i do recommend these trainers fwas dry, but play on grass or an a slightly damp court then you could or that player who plays mainly indoor and maybe once a week....
