Advantages: light , quick and easy to inflate/deflate, extremely comfortable Disadvantages: initial outlay is a little expensive but not unreasonably so.
...is really good. I will talk more about this later on.
Big Agnes REM Air Core Pad Regular

The regular pad is 20" wide x 72" long x 2.5" deep and this is my pad. My partner who is taller than me has the long version which is 20" wide x 78" long x 2.5" deep. Big Agnes also makes a Ύ length pad which is useful for ultralight trekkers. My pad weighs 22 oz (624 g) and my partners pad weighs 25 oz (709g) so as you can see the weight is pretty decent. The upgrade kit does increase this by 10 ounces but the upgrade isnt always necessary. If the weather is hot or warm at night you have no need of insulation other than the basic pad as it is suitable...

Advantages: Fast, cheap to run, fuel widely available - globally Disadvantages: haven't found any yet - except not really lightweight
...gets up to full working temperature.
The filler funnel is fitted with a grot/moisture filter to ensure trouble free operation.Unlike gas stoves it maintains its temperature until out of fuel, rather than the slow loss of power you get with gas canisters, and no empty disposal problem. Compared to other ultralight weight multi fuel stoves it is simple, it comes in one peice, cheap to run and awsomely efficient - the main componants are made of brass and steel, rather than the use of plastics - which when they fail leave you without a working stove - worth the exrta wieght!...

For a golfer with a very fast swing speed, you can opt for a club with only 7.5 degrees of loft, and with a very stiff shaft. For a older or less strong golfer, the better option would be a regular shaft (whippier) with more loft; up to 12 degrees which will get the golf ball airborne more quickly.
~ ~ Now for the really good news. The price.
When the R540 first hit the market back in 2003, the price here in Ireland was a mind boggling 499. (Over £300 Sterling) I bought my R540 in McGuirks, a local Irish golfing superstore, for only 140!
Why the huge drop in price, you might well ask? Its because TaylorMade have now released an even...
