I bought these bindings only because my original ones had given up on me half way down a mountain. It has been the best thing that has happened to my boarding. Both the baseplate and highback are fairly stiff so all movement is transferred direct to the board. The straps are wide and padded so they are super comfy. The bidings have a fully adjustable heel cup as well which means that you can tailor them completely to your size of boot and to your style of riding. I tend to be very aggresive and they have brought my riding on in leaps and bounds. They will not suit every rider though, if you are learning to ride they will be too stiff, and if you have a really chunky boot (ie Flow) the straps may not be long enough to go round.

Welcome to Ciao. I'm a skier rather than a boarder, though I haven't been for a couple of years. Hope you have fun on the site. Pretty good first op - the general rule is the more info the higher your ratings!

Imagine you are writing for people who have no idea about what you are talking about because to be honest, had it not been for the picture of the snowboarder I would have fallen firmly into that category.
