Advantages: Friendly people, great views and scenary, lots to do and see Disadvantages: Need a hire car
...didn't want to ride.
We received a very prompt and pleasing reply saying that it didn't matter that we weren't riders and that the week we wanted was free. We made the booking and went over there late November.
We arrived at Almeria airport in the evening so it was dark; we picked up the car and headed out of the airport on the road to Tabernas. As it was dark we were concerned that we may miss the villa so after a call to Rob for some directions, we arrive at the villa without ant trouble. After we put our things in the bedroom, we were treated to tapas and a drink, and while we chatted Rob and Carole told us about some of the attractions around the area, including a western theme park nearby which you can actually ride too along the dry river bed.
We decided to drive there, when we arrived it looked like we were the only ones...

Advantages: Easy to clean an maintain Disadvantages: Lacks extra storage
...I wanted to try Hydrapak so I gambled on the AS Trail. I am very glad that I did. The bladder doesn't have a screw-on lid like most other systems but rather a roll-top with velcro. I know that sounds bad and I was skeptical, but it really does hold water well. I filled it up and squeezed and couldn't get it to leak. Advantages: strong, warm, waterproof and a good price Disadvantages: the hood is onl made out of a thin bit of material so it gets wet.
...I know horses are an expensive business and you look at the clothing catalogues and jackets seem to cost about £100-£150. This are the more expensive names like Mountain Horse. I have owned my saddlecraft jacket for about one and a half years. I was lucky enough to win it. I have looked in catalogues and found it not bad for value. This jacket is very warm and keeps me very dry if it is pouring outside except for the hood which is just a thin layer of material. It has three pockets one inside the jacket, a drawstring at the waist and zip followed by push buttons. I have washed my jacket several times and it is easy to clean and look after and it keeps it colour very well. I would recommend this jacket to any horse riders it is comfortable and is exactly what us horse riders needs. It is strong and comes in different styles. This jacket...
