Dunlop Deep Distance Driver

Disadvantages: Take some getting used to the distance

...If your looking for a new set of clubs with good distance and accuracy and don’t necessarily want to spend a fortune then try these "Deep Reds" from Wilson. I got these irons to replace my old (beginner) set of Wilson irons. As after 2 years my game was not getting any better, I had to try some new clubs - or give up altogether!!! The first thing that you will notice about these clubs is that they look classy. They have got deep cavity heads with a nice red urethane insert in the head. I hadn’t set out to get these irons but there was a promotion day down at my local driving range and they had reps from Titelist, Callaway, Ping and Wilson there. Advantages: Hits the ball a VERY long way. Keeps the ball straight.
Disadvantages: Not a solitary thing.

...driver. Greater speed plus less spin equates to the golf ball travelling a greater distance, in the case of the R540 anything from 20 to 30 yards further than its nearest competitor. (Callaway) ~ ~ But distance alone doesn’t make a great driver. I never really lost my ability to hit the ball a fair distance from the tee, even when playing poorly. What caused me the most trouble was the fact that I simply couldn’t guarantee what direction it was going to go in, and what trouble I would land the ball in at the end of its flight. I had become an expert at extricating myself from practically impossible situations, from knee high rough to deep in forests that nobody else had visited in generations! Advantages: great to use

...The 975D is the sort of driver that everyone should have as it makes the most impressive sound on impact of any driver I have ever heard. Apart from that though, how does it fair against other Drivers on the market - such as the Callaway ERCII or the Taylor Made 300 series? Actually it does remarkably well. I use the 8 degree Driver and find that the ball flight is very good and am now hitting the ball straighter than I ever had. The distance off the tee is very useful and also the ability to shape shots is good as it can sometimes be hard to do this with a driver but easy with this club. I work in a pro shop so know a lot about this sort of thing - take my word for it this is a great club (bit pricy though!)... Read review
