The Dunlop Evo 255 Tennis Racket is designed for improving players who seek the right balance between power, touch, feel and control. The Dunlop Evo 255 Tennis Racket is a graphite constructed racket featuring M-FIL, Vibrotech and Foamtech technology. M-Fil (multifilament) is a combination of 3 materials that are incorporated into the hitting zone of the racket head to enhance the touch and feel of the racket where you need it most. Vibratech features wider string holes and softer grommets at the bridge to allow longer dwell time and increased power by returning the ball with more energy and Foamtech reduces vibration transfer from the racket. Available in Grip sizes: 2, 3 and 4. Headsize: 105 sq.in. Weight (strung): 270g
Advantages: Extremely light and with enormous amounts of power Disadvantages: Difficult to get hold of!
...I have been playing badminton in local leagues for the past fifteen years and have recently taken up tennis.
Naturally tennisrackets tend to be significantly heavier than badminton rackets which makes the transition from one sport to the other incredibly difficult.
I had a 'hit' with this racket that my partner uses and found it was amazingly light immediately.
After playing with it for a while I subsequently noticed that it was a very forgiving racket, its enormous sweet spot comensating for off centre hits.
It delivers a really smooth sensation when hitting giving excellent feedback - you really can feel the ball with this racket.
After tracking one down on the internet and continuing to play with the racket it just gets better and better. I have recently started opening up the explosive power that it has, and it not...

Advantages: spin, power, good strings and style Disadvantages: heavy racket
...Okay, I don't officially own this racket but I ordered a few tennisrackets on trial and the Babolat AeroPro Plus is one of them.
As used by Rafael Nadal. I found it personally a bit on the heavy side ( about 11.1oz strung). Nevertheless this racket does feel good especially when used for various spin shots and baseline shots. I found it especially good for slice serving, it really gives a nice kick and due to the longer length of the racket it enabled me to reach a bit further when I am stretching and greatly benefits on my serve.
In my opinion this is a head heavy racket combined this with the cortex filter system (reduces vibration) and aero frame design it gives a better feel of the ball and enhances maneuverability meaning that more power can be generated. It has a nice size head at 100sq.in. which gives a nice sized sweet...

Advantages: A lot of power and a large sweet spot Disadvantages: Paintwork etc prome to being chipped away easily
...Provided you have reasonably powerful legs and arms, and basic core strength this racket will treat you very well. It will deliver for you countless inside-out forhand winners and vicious down the line drives with great satisfaction and little effort. However, you do need strength to use this racket - and proper technique is a necessity if you plan on using any babolat. Countless times my friends attempt to use my Aero Pro Drive without proper tennis coaching and find balls spinning hopelessly over the court fencing!
This racket has massive power at its disposal but to release it without a lot of effort on your behalf you must have a consistent and effective technique in both bread and butter baseline swings. If you feel that this is the racket for you, i would recommend trying it (or any similar Babolat model) first to make sure you...
