Well the trick to this shot is to use your most lofted club and literally let the loft of the club get the ball in the air and land it softly on the green with plenty of control. The Titleist Vokey 60 degree lob web is ideal for playing this kind of shot. I like to think my short has always been above average, however since buying the Vokey lob wedge it has improved to a very high level considering I play of an 11 handicap. ...This is a fantastic wedge, suitable for any skill level of player especially for the more inconsistent of us due to the positioning of the weight in the club head. This wedge is especially good in my eyes due to its anti glare 'black pearl' finish which looks great and doesn't rust. The design of the sole of the club makes it harder to hit 'fat' as the bounce stops the club from digging in and allows more better mishits that the average wedge. I also got great feel and a lot of spin with this wedge, especially from sand adn deep rough!!! The standard shaft and grip come with the quality you would expect from a Cleveland wedge and match the well designed clubhead that sits very well behind the ball. ...Although Titleist have since released a number of wedges to add to their series, the original Vokey Chrome is still a formidable golf club. A must buy for any serious golfer who appreciates quality and control, I believe the looks are unmatched by any other Titleist Wedge and many others from top brands. If you are looking for spin control this club is perfect. It offers fantastic consistency and a high spin rate, combined with good feel. All lofts are useful and if added to your bag can drastically improve your short game. I use 4 of these wedges (48, 52, 56 and 60 degree) and would not be playing off 7 without them. They add an extra dimension to your game and I believe are unmatched by any other brand.
