Advantages: Large "Sweet Zone", Accurate and Long.
Disadvantages: Superceded by the LD and Speed models.

...in the market for "long game" clubs with much success with both drivers and fairway woods in recent years. Their clubs are generally forgiving and long and this SZ range (Sweet Zone) is more of the same. However, these clubs are no longer the most recent on the market having being released a couple of years ago now. Even though they have been replaced by new lines of clubs they remain as a great, modern example of golf technology and the fact that they have been superseded by newer models only serves to lower their price!! The clubs are now available for £60/£70 from golf stores and even less on eBay having previously had an RRP of over £100. As well as looking good behind the ball the SZ fairway woods have a great level of technology on their side too. ...I won a dozen off these Callaway HX Tour black balls in a competition and am in love !! I have always played with Titleist Pro V1's in the past and didn't think anything would be able to beat them. These Callaways balls go an absolute mile when spanked off the tee with your driver. I would say slightly further than the pro v1. They also have excellent spin control when struck with your short irons into the greens. I have never had so much backspin with a ball before. I find them very nice to putt with as well , a real soft feel coming off the putter face. The only real draw back with these is the price. I believe they are currently retailing for around £36 a dozen but i believe them to be worth it , especially in the summer. I have found them to have knocked around 2-3 shots off of my game per round , i play off a 12 handicap... Read review
