There were several occasions when the thing nearly got chucked out of the window and I bitterly regretted ever reading the reviews that persuaded me to buy the thing in the first place. I was very fortunate that I had access to another PC with an Internet connection as it proved invaluable.
One of the chief attractions of the board was that it would accept a SATA RAID configuration. As there was no floppy disk with the SATA drivers on, I had to create one from the drivers CD. There appeared to be two different sets of drivers on the CD so I copied both.
Unfortunately neither worked!
Once the PC was reassembled and I booted up I needed to go into the BIOS to configure it to boot from CD. No problems here so it was soon time to insert the XP CD and F6 at the appropriate time to tell Windows to install ...
Advantages: Something new to explore..you can be in Paris and Las Vegas at the same time! Disadvantages: A bit pricy for some, you need more than two weeks to see everything!
